Community Action Agency Senior Services Program
services include blood pressure readings, foot
clinics, flu shots, prescription drug assistance,
Medicare/Medicaid assistance, guest speakers, in
completing forms for Medicare/Medicaid, MEPPS,
taxes, weatherization, home heating credit, food
stamps. Socialization and informational referrals to
other agencies and a monthly newsletter. In-Home
services include meal delivery to the homebound
participant, light housekeeping duties for the frail
elderly, assistance with activities of daily living,
attending to the needs of the frail elderly,
especially those with dementia, while relieving a
caregiver.
